The 39th Biennial Congress of the Nordic Society of Nephrology

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Nordic Society of Nephrology and the Organising Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to Nordiska Njurdagar 2027, to be held in Stockholm, Sweden, from 29 September to 1 October 2027.

Under the motto “Kidney Health Across Borders – Nordic Science, Global Impact”, this meeting aims to highlight the strength of Nordic collaboration in nephrology and to demonstrate how our shared scientific efforts can contribute to better kidney health far beyond our region. We look forward to bringing together approximately 300 nephrologists, renal nurses and renal dietitians from across the Nordic countries for three days of scientific exchange, professional development and collegial networking.

The meeting will take place at the Karolinska Institutet campus, in Stockholm. This modern and inspiring academic environment provides an excellent setting for scientific dialogue and interdisciplinary interaction.

The scientific programme will be built around high-quality contributions from the Nordic nephrology community. Abstract submission is planned to open in December 2026, with a programme that will include poster presentations as well as selected oral communications. Registration will open in January 2027, and further practical information will then be available on this website.

We are pleased to work together with All about meetings as our professional congress organiser, and hotel rooms have been reserved at several hotels near the meeting venue.
